W.P. HOBBY AIRPORT TERMINAL EXPANSION - PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SUPPORT 2000 - 2004

This project constructed new, expanded, and renovated terminals, which included a new enlarged bag makeup area that was designed to accommodate an interim baggage screening solution followed by the design and implementation of an in-line EDS to accommodate the Southwest Airlines’ (SWA) expansion at the Central Terminal from seven gates to twenty four gates. ASL assisted Houston Airport System to develop design options for approval by TSA and to negotiate with SWA and TSA for  reimbursement of allowable costs. ASL assisted the HAS project team to set up a separate cost accounting system related to TSA reimbursement of allowable costs and a reporting system that met audit requirements.
